The Peppermint Twist version of the Special Days pattern is just PERFECT for the Holly Jolly fabric line!! The vintagey prints and colors coupled with this great pattern really showcase the fabrics! The pattern goes together quickly! A layer cake and charm pack jump start the process and give you lots of variety for the patchwork squares. A dozen peppermint twist blocks add the special touch and uniqueness to the quilt.
My great grandmother always had a bowl of peppermint twists on her coffee table. Year round! I always think of her when I see peppermint twists.

Minky is also fabulous on the back of this quilt. Since it's 60" wide there's no piecing! You'll need 2 1/8 yds of minky for the back. The Christmas Red is PERFECT with the colors of this quilt. You can find it HERE.
