Fancy 4-Patch is a Layer Cake (10" squares) pattern. The use of a layer cake gives that scrappy, coordinated look of using one fabric line with lots of variety. It works perfectly for this design.
The pattern includes 3 versions:
63" square - it's the center of all the quilts. Finishes with a narrow border strip the same as the sashing. It gives a borderless look if you like no borders.
59" x 75" - the perfect lap quilt! If you like rectangular quilts, this one's for you. This quilt has a top and bottom border which gives it an updated, modern look.
75" square - this version is bordered on all 4 sides for a more traditional look.
